Happy Monday and Happy National Volunteer Recognition Day, Houghton Jones Family! 💛

We want to take a moment to thank all of our amazing volunteers who have helped us at so many events. Your time, energy, and kindness truly make a difference, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Sending so much love and appreciation your way today! ✨

🌱 April is National Gardening Month!

All month long, I’ll be sharing helpful gardening tips with you each week. This week’s tip: try bottom watering your plants! Instead of watering from the top, place your plant pot in a shallow tray of water and let it absorb moisture through the drainage holes. This helps roots grow deeper, prevents overwatering on the surface, and keeps leaves dry—reducing the risk of mold and disease.

📖 It’s also National Poetry Month!

To celebrate, I want to highlight the incredible poet Ada Limón. Her work is known for its honesty, vivid imagery, and deep connection to nature and everyday moments. She has a beautiful way of making the ordinary feel meaningful—definitely worth checking out this month!
